The R.A.P Show informs and inspire students, professionals, educators, parents, community members about relevant child welfare topics and practices to strengthen practice, work forces, and families. The show bridges the knowledge gap to equip current and future child welfare professionals, educators, caretakers, and community members by providing the tools and information needed to promote child welfare practice.

    The Tuskegee University Endowment Scholarship was established in August 2022 by Ms. Lawanna Renee Barron, BCD, LCSW, ACSW, this endowed scholarship will be awarded annually to students enrolled in the Tuskegee University Bachelor of Social Work Program and Master of Social Work Program. It serves to honor the legacy of a professional social worker who greatly impacted our nation and numerous communities. Lawanna Barron’s first job as a federal civilian social worker was at the Department of Veteran Affairs Hospital in Tuskegee, Alabama. Tune in to hear about her endowment, scholarship, career, and words of wisdom about the social work profession.
